“Are you ever going to do “weather reports” like Yahoo! does for algorithm updates? Simply a confirmation that one has happened would please many SEOs, as clients might think they’ve been penalised. Your algo update reports years ago were wonderful.”

I agree, a monthly or quarterly weather report would be useful. Cause of bunch of small updates are worth a big one. So a basic overview of some changes are very welcome. Also its clear that google wants the content to define your place in SERPs and not your optimization skills.

Matt, how about providing a monthly/quarterly update of the general changes made? I don’t mean list each change made but maybe the general areas affected. This would still help Webmasters a great deal and the Google only needs to provide a monthly/quarterly weather report. Also thanks for making these videos. I find them very useful.
