@acdcandclassics Ummm China already has laws about that, 1 child per couple, as soon as they find out its a girl they get an abortion so that they can have a son and carry on the family name. In India it is largely undeveloped and with that many people would be hard to control their birth rate.

Some people are afraid of the dramatic increase in the computational capabilities of machines and whether it will lead to sentience. Others are afraid of the shift in the “quality” of the population in rapidly developing countries like India and China.
