1. Wenceslas Square

This old fortress was built at the time when the city was founded and is a great place to wander around. Within the thick stone walls are several old shops and buildings along with the city’s National Cemetery and is where you will find the graves of some of the city’s most famous citizens. Beside the cemetery is a beautiful church that has colorful doors and which represent the ancient splendour of this city extremely well.
4. Astronomical Clock
The clock tower was built in 1410 and the clock housed within it is still functioning and provides very accurate data concerning a number of different astrological events. Every hour on the hour the clock chimes and from inside appears a number of wooden figures to entertain those who stop to look at it.
5. Old Town Square
